Islam ↔ Anarchist: Public Solidarity & Evidence Gaps

CrimethInc.’s January 2017 published solidarity toward Muslims, with expression, reported activity and outcomes kept distinct. Five directional categories remain pending.

Reality and fiction, clearly marked. Evidence sections describe the sources; game sections describe authored characters and events. Source-checked does not mean reviewed by a clinician or theologian. Read the evidence-status guide.
RESEARCH NOTES

01 Scope and evidence status

This is a limited public-expression case, not a completed six-direction comparison, representative survey or assessment of every participant in the airport protests.

The retained action is publication of solidarity toward Muslims. No protection, legal result, detainee release or reciprocal support is inferred.

RESEARCH NOTES

02 Actors, convictions and attribution

The 2017 text explicitly advocates an anti-state objective, supporting the historical anarchist classification rather than inferring it from disorder or protest attendance. Its target is explicitly Muslim communities; nationality is not used as a religious proxy. [1]

CrimethInc.’s current About page describes decentralized anonymous collective action. This supplies platform context, not independent proof of 2017 authorship or every present formulation at that date. Attribute the publication to the named platform, not every contributor or protester. [2]

08 6. Anarchist → Islam — Supportive interactions

In its publication dated January 29, 2017, CrimethInc. rejects framing Islam as the problem and urges cross-community solidarity concerning the policy it calls a Muslim ban. Retain this as published public advocacy, not verified participation, protection, legal change or reciprocal Muslim support. [1]

Locator: the section headed “#MuslimBan: The Problem Isn’t Islam, It’s the State,” especially its closing paragraphs; historical anti-state context also appears in the opening wrap-up. The publication date does not independently date each continuously updated contribution.

RESEARCH NOTES

09 Source limits and remaining research

The page combines editorial argument and contributed accounts. Anonymous/collective attribution does not establish the identity, convictions or actions of every narrator or protest participant. An original manuscript or archived first version was not compared.

Political intent, security predictions, legal descriptions, deportation statistics, crowd numbers, police allegations, violence and reported releases elsewhere on the page are not independently verified or adopted. The source’s Muslim-ban terminology is contemporaneous framing, not current-law guidance.

The current About page shares the same source family and does not independently corroborate events. No theological agreement, formal coalition, reduced violence or successful protection inferred. Five directions remain pending.

ABCF/Jamil Al-Amin search results, later retrospectives and external links were discovery leads, not opened findings in this pass. Improve provenance with an archived version and independently documented specific interactions before expanding claims.

A particular expression of solidarity can inform individual characters and stories. It does not justify universal alliances, identity-based moral scores or new gameplay mechanics.
