Real Faces of Holy Wars

Meet the real people who lend their faces to the world of Holy Wars. Follow along as William draws each character by hand, starting with the face and building the world around it.

Only the eyes receive color—a tribute to the familiar saying that eyes are “windows to the soul,” and to the unique person behind each face.

The First Faces

A real face. A new character.
