01 Scope and evidence status

This limited comparison retains a published expression of support for religious freedom. It establishes advocacy toward a politically abstinent community, rather than service delivery or an alliance.

Five directions remain unestablished. Publication coverage does not mean this comparison’s research is complete.

02 Separate actor fit from the action

Non-Political here means deliberate political disengagement. Electoral abstention used as an anarchist organizing strategy is insufficient. Pacifism, religious identity and nonpartisanship alone are also insufficient.

An April 2016 Witness teaching prescribes abstention from lobbying, political elections, office candidacy and changing governments. It also preserves law-obedience, taxes and appeals for fair treatment. This is prior institutional teaching, not proof of every adherent’s conduct or withdrawal from all civic life. [2]

The essay speaks from an anarchist standpoint. Avtonom’s current self-description also identifies an anarchist media project; later platform wording is not backdated to 2021. [1] [3]

On September 17, 2021, Avtonom.org published an essay signed “Э.С.” (E.S.) defending religious freedom and calling for an end to persecution, explicitly including Jehovah’s Witnesses. Retain this as the author’s public advocacy toward a community with prior political-abstention teaching. [1] [2]

The text also criticizes Witness practices and includes a hypothetical objection to strikebreaking. Its defense of religious freedom is not unqualified agreement with the religion. No delivered aid, coalition, recipient response or protective result was established. [1]

09 Authorship, attribution and remaining work

The posting account is labeled Anonymous; the body bears initials and credits Боец Анархист (Boets Anarkhist). The civil author’s identity and a separately hosted original were not verified. Attribute the expression to this essay, rather than treating it as an adopted resolution of every platform participant. [1]

The English account is a scoped paraphrase of the inspected Russian text. Its broader historical, numerical and abuse allegations are not independently established here and are not adopted as findings. The conditional criticism is not evidence of implemented harm. [1]

The platform’s current about page contains later updates. Its current self-description supplies context; the dated essay’s own standpoint supplies the contemporaneous attribution. [3]

A 1980 Stuart Christie interview mentions Witness prisoners receiving outside help, but does not identify anarchists as its providers. Earlier Lawson and Kerr essays describe active political organizing. Neither route supplies a reciprocal interaction; their exclusions remain in the canonical audit.

Further work could verify the essay’s original publication and author attribution, inspect recipient reception or assistance records, and research each remaining direction separately. These open questions prohibit stronger claims about delivery and effects.
